I Was Wrong

I am man enough to know when I am wrong about something and I am also man enough to say so. I was wrong about Mahmoud Ahmadenijad. In the past I had defended the Sovereign Right of the Nation of Iran to acquire nuclear weapons so that they may be used for defensive posturing. I argued, wrongly, that Iran was simply trying to avoid a situation like Iraq, where the US can wily nilly over through it’s government by using our superior military might to topple their government.

In recent days I have seen several reports that Iran is preparing for the return of the Mahdi (Twelfth Imam). Now with this report from CBN and their  video (see below) I am thoroughly convinced that Iran is about to go on the offensive. Continue reading →

How could Islam take over the world?

This is just me pondering on the subject.

With all the news about the Egyptian protests and now Iran and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad moving war ships towards the Suez Canal and making moves to start a war in the name of the Twelfth Immam, there is a lot if speculation going on on how this will effect America. I for one cannot fathom a direct assault from foreign invaders even if they conquer the entire Middle East. But then again I don’t think they have any intentions of invading America. No, I think they know that our superior military would send them packing and put them right back in their place.

Which leads me to this train of thought. If I am Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and I want to conquer the free world and spread Islam for the Twelfth Imam, the only way I can do it is to neutralize the US. How would you do that, you may ask? My best guess would be to use those WMD/WMEs that he’s been smuggling into the US. With the US already in near financial collapse, it’s troops already spread to thinly, that would be the straw that broke the camels back. We would not be able to recover and we would not be able to defend our allies, thereby leaving the Twelfth Imam to reign his unholy hell on the world.

Just a thought — a terrible one at that.
