Father, I come before you as an unrighteous soul. I am puffed up with pride. Please help me to humble myself before you and before my fellow man. Give me strength to serve those in need. Bestow upon me compassion in my heart for my fellow man, as your perfect compassion is for me. Help me to seek your Grace. And temper my patience for I have little. Praise to you oh Lord! Amen!

Saturday Mass 11/12/2011– St Justin Martyr

This past Saturday Father spoke about the changes to the Mass that are to begin at Advent. Thankfully I am a new Catholic so it won’t be as confusing for me. He also mentioned Saint Justin Martyr and how from his righting we can know the order of the Mass as well as other things. I wipped out my phone and Tweeted his name so that I could look him up later. I’m glad I did.

LGBT inequality

A dear old friend of mine whom I have not seen since I left high school (nearly 20 years ago) and I reconnected on Facebook several months ago. I think highly of this person now just as much as did back in high school.

I suppose at some point in time after high school he came to terms with the fact that he is a bisexual male and thus has perused a lifestyle that he chooses and is living the American dream. If that is what he so chooses, by all means I support him and think no less of him for it. That’s his business and what he chooses to divulge in public is his choice.

Threating Letters Claim Nukes are Hidden in The US

That’s right folks, as if my last post was not apocalyptic and creepy enough in it’s own right, heres a story that was broke by CBS Channel 2 in Chicago. Twenty-five letters have been reported to the FBI claiming to have hidden 160 nuclear bombs around the US. The letter is supposedly from Bin Laden.

As if I needed anymore to be paranoid about. :)

 

I Was Wrong

I am man enough to know when I am wrong about something and I am also man enough to say so. I was wrong about Mahmoud Ahmadenijad. In the past I had defended the Sovereign Right of the Nation of Iran to acquire nuclear weapons so that they may be used for defensive posturing. I argued, wrongly, that Iran was simply trying to avoid a situation like Iraq, where the US can wily nilly over through it’s government by using our superior military might to topple their government.

In recent days I have seen several reports that Iran is preparing for the return of the Mahdi (Twelfth Imam). Now with this report from CBN and their  video (see below) I am thoroughly convinced that Iran is about to go on the offensive. Continue reading →
