A few months ago I decided to see what all the fuss was over Twitter. Since then I have come to love micro blogging. I am so busy now that I just don't have time to post to this blog. However I do have the time to hammer out 140 characters or less. In fact I can do it several times a day.
Not to long after one of my first posts @IBMU2 followed me. I naturally asked how they found me, they were using TweetDeck. I had to get that. TweetDeck served me well until last week when I came across PeopleBrowsr. If you click on that link it will take you to their online version. From there you can sign in and start using it right away from your browser. They have a downloadable version (requires Adobe Air). The download is the exact same as the online version.
PB has three modes. Basic, Advanced, and Business Mode. I'm here to tell you that if you are like me and at all and want to collect trending data, you CANNOT be without this free tool in your war chest.
But wait, there's more....
It's not just for Twitter. PB hooks up to Facebook, Digg, Flikr, and a whole lot more. Plus it gets RSS feeds. If they hooked up to Craigslist and Reddit then it would be very well dethrone Google Chrome as my most used application.
Many thanks to the devs at PeopleBrowsr. You guys rock!.
