I’m driving into work this morning and listening to the usual AM morning drive time radio show that I listen to. They are talking about some huge scandal with the Port Authority and how they are heavily unionized and that 25% of their members are former convicts (gasp). The whole time he’s saber rattling and bemoaning them I’m thinking to myself “Your missing the real story.” The reals story being the WMD’s and San Diego’s Port Authority that I posted about on the 14th. When all of a sudden he casually mentions the WMD story. He just makes a mere 5 second mention of it and moves back into his diatribe.

That startled me for a number of reasons. The most obvious being that he knows about the story and yet is choosing to talk about a similar story that frankly pales in comparison to the real story. It’s no shocker to me that they don’t report on such news, but normally they completely ignore it , or in the case of talk radio should someone call in and talk about it they dismiss the caller and move on pretending all the while that they never heard it or it never happened.

The other not so obvious reason it startled me, the silence. Yes they mentioned the news story, but they are silent on it. Unless you are reading alternative news your not hearing about it. Further more you are not hearing the follow up to the original story that the FBI says “The notion of probability of a WMD attack being low or high is a moot point because we know the probability is 100 percent,” Majidi says. “We’ve seen this in the past, and we will see it in the future. There is going to be an attack using chemical, biological or radiological material.” according to Dr. Vahid Majidi, the FBI’s assistant director in charge of the FBI’s Weapons of Mass Destruction Directorate. Their silence is not only deafening, their silence is going to lead to the death of thousands, if not millions of Americans and many more after the initial detonation because they were unprepared.
